The Carl Sherman Group Invited to Represent North Texas at Nordic/Texas Initiative in Gothenburg, Sweden

DALLAS, TX — The Carl Sherman Group (TCSG), a Dallas-based municipal advisory and economic development consulting firm, has been invited to join the Nordic/Texas Initiative in Gothenburg, Sweden, a long-term collaboration connecting Texas and West Sweden through innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and economic development. The invitation comes from Helene Honeybone, Honorary Consul of Sweden in Dallas, and Maureen McKelvey, Professor at the University of Gothenburg and Director of its U-GOT KIES Centre.

The delegation's itinerary includes visits to Business Region Gothenburg (BRG), the official economic development and investment promotion agency for the Gothenburg region, Lindholmen Science Park and Innovation District, which includes Chalmers University of Technology's School of Maritime Studies, the Battery Centre Gothenburg and Ericsson's Innovation Garage, Innovatum Science Park and GKN Aerospace, driving transformation in sustainable industry, space, manufacturing technology and innovation, AstraZeneca's BioVenture Hub, and GoCo Health Innovation City, a world-class innovation cluster for life science. There will also be engagement with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences West, Business Sweden, University of Gothenburg Centre for Knowledge-Intensive Innovation Systems (U-GOT KIES), the University of Iceland, and GU Ventures, the University of Gothenburg's Research & Innovation Services supporting and investing in entrepreneurs
